Comprehensive Drug Self-administration and Discrimination Bibliographic Database

 

 

This page allows downloading of the latest version of the database maintained by Richard A Mesich, Ian Stolerman and Vladimir Tsibulsky. The files are those for the DSAD 1205 version* which includes references from 1940 through 2012. Publications for are complete up to 2010 with much of 2011 included as well. The numerals in the file names date the files according to month and year. Details about the file formats are provided below.


Reference Manager format

These files enable you to run the database on your own computer. You will need to download both files to your disk and place them in a folder convenient for access from Reference Manager. Note that both files must be present in the same folder. The files are maintained in Reference Manager 12. Some earlier versions of Reference Manager can read these files: there should not be a problem with version 10 or version 11; reading with earlier versions is uncertain.

Medline format

This ASCII text file for Windows (13.6 MB) is formatted in the National Library of Medicine's Medline format. It can be read with standard text editors or word processors. It can also be imported into Reference Manager, enabling use of obsolete versions of the software; import into other bibliographic software may be possible depending on the data format required.



* The version name "DSAD xxyy" is derived as follows: "Drug Self-Administration and Discrimination, xx=year, yy=month".
